Its never too soon to think about 2012 and your next planner acquisition. Jenni Bick Bookbinding just announced the new Cavallini 2012 Daily Planner is in stock. These substantial leather-covered planners are available in over half a dozen colors with elegantly printed interior pages. There is one page per day with soft grey lines on cream stock.

Morning Pages
Lots of people have attempted to do Julia Margaret Cameron’s The Artist’s Way morning pages at some point in time. If you’re not familiar with the concept, the idea is that by writing three pages every morning, you can clear the mental clutter and get down to the core of your “real work” whether that is a new business venture, writing a book or getting the laundry...

A Place of Her Own
This is another look from Stylizimo but it has a much different feeling. The warm wood secretary desk with stool and wrap feels cozy and intimate where the other workspace feels open and efficient. I like each space though they evoke different feelings.

Scandinvian simplicity
This is a clean, minimal Norwegian-styled office space. Everything is light and neutral with color accents added on the pinboard and in subtle accessories (ball of yarn, roll of wrapping paper). This makes it easy to update and change the feel on the space just by changing out images on the board or adding an arrangement of flowers.

Bread-Tie Cable Labels
I have been collecting plastic bread bag ties for years and never knew what I could do with them. Thanks to Unplugged, I can now use them to label the cable spaghetti. They recommend labelling the cables at both ends. I recommend making sure you use the same colored tag as well.
If you’re lucky, in a couple of weeks you’ll have enough ties to label the stereo equipment, tv spaghetti and all the...

Holy Cow! Monsieur Notebook Review
Today, I got the chance to review a new series of notebooks from a UK-based company called Monsieur Notebook. These books are sized similarly to an A5 (regular 5.5x8.5”) and an A6 (pocket 4x6”) Moleskine but with real leather covers for just a few dollars more than a comparable sized Moleskine. The books are handmade in India and there’s a note on the inside of the wrap that...

Vintage Monarch Silverette Gem Paper Clips
Oh, lovingly photographed vintage office supplies will get me everytime. This time, I have Scout’s Honor to thank for this wonderful find.
scoutshonorco:
You just can’t beat vintage packaging. Found this old school box of paper clips at my great aunt’s house over the weekend. I love everything about it… Clean, simple, + totally free of gloss or gradients. Ahhh, times have changed.

White Charcoal Pencils →
Again, Scout’s Honor has tickled me with her post about using General’s Charcoal White Pencils as a delicate substitute for chalk. Whether on a chalkboard or on dark paper for a chalkboard look, these inexpensive cedar wood pencils are just the ticket!
scoutshonorco:
I love sketching out hand type ideas on my big old chalkboard. But sometimes the scale throws me off and is too large...
